Toby has been thinking of getting a new companion for him and his family, but he wants to do it the right way. He wants to be a responsible pet owner.

The illegal puppy trade is often hard to spot, and you could find yourself unwittingly contributing to the suffering of animals. This is why it's important to make sure you source your new best friend from an ethical source. 

The best way to do this is to get in touch with your nearest shelter, who will be more than happy to introduce you to the animals they have.
